A serious honor to get to tattoo Norman Rockwell's "The problem we all live with", painting of Ruby Bridges getting escorted to a formally whites-only school.
Insane that this took place in 1960.
I am so honored and thankful that I am entrusted with such sensitive projects such as these. I can't wait to see this finished, I'm gonna have to pay for homeboy to get his leg waxed for healed videos of this sleeve of Black activists and historians, the original GOATs.
I'm so excited to see how this is all coming together. 🤗
I have another client who also has a similar vibe leg sleeve that I'm working on as well but in his own style in mind of course.
Between them both, we have all of the greats; MLK jr, Malcom X, Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, Jackie Robinson, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, and more to come.

As always JDrazaink will be doing 11% off for all of our black homies tattoos during black history month. (Month of February) Can't wait to awkwardly ask all my light skin clients what kind of lightskin they are 😂 & for my Dawgs who specify "I no black - I'm Dominican, papi" keep that same energy 😂 (joke haha)

If youre wondering if tattoos are addicting... please note that I met this little lady two weeks ago, and in less than two weeks she has gotten three tattoos haha! One freehand turtle, one cover up of a 42 year old tattoo with another freehand turtle, and she got another little tattoo redone (forgot to take a picture) Thank you so much, Pamela. It's been so fun spending time with you. I just LOVE how well her skin takes color, and heals color! The first turtle is almost healed.:)

What an absolute QUEEN! Christine just melted my entire soul. This is the absolute sweetest and kindest thing I've ever received as a thank you for my artwork. Christine got her first tattoo at 79 years young and is already planning her second one. Such an honor to do anyone's first tattoo, but at 79?! She's waited so long for this and chose me! Also trusted me to freehand this piece. That's incredible. Thank you thank you thank you!

(Quick disclaimer, the bruising on her arm was preexisting, the bruising around the tattoo was indeed trauma related from the tattoo. As gentle as I can be, Our skin just doesn't tolerate tattooing as well as it does when we are younger. You can still get tattooed, just have to take extra good care of it.)
